For a few years back this is pretty darn good! You oughta draw more, and get it out there. Charcoal can be a bitch to work with but you have a definite aesthetic feel going here that's really nice. The left side of the shell kinda blends into the floor and lacks some depth but other than that... nice! You should keep it up!
this is a cool study, dan! i'm not much of a graphic designer too but your posters look very professional. you should draw from life a lot more because it helps with every kind of art making. good luck dude!
